Every day I try to pay attention to the little things that make life
enjoyable: a phone call from a friend, the smell of clean warm laundry, a
hummingbird that flits past the window. My new favorite source of joy is the
Petit Palais Glassware. Each one feels solid and smooth in my hand, with a
lovely swirling botanical design. The Petit Palais or Small Palace, that is
the namesake of this glassware, was built in France in 1900. This
